Dr. Eduardo Martínez Martínez
Investigador(a) en Ciencias Médicas D
El Dr. Eduardo Martínez es egresado de la licenciatura en Investigación Biomédica Básica y del doctorado en Ciencias Biomédicas de la UNAM. Realizó una estancia posdoctoral en la Universidad de Harvard. Actualmente es Investigador en Ciencias Médicas “D” y miembro del Sistema Nacional de Investigadores Nivel I. El Dr. Martínez forma parte del Instituto Nacional de Medicina Genómica y es titular del laboratorio de Comunicación Celular y Vesículas Extracelulares. Sus líneas de investigación están enfocadas a entender el papel de las vesículas extracelulares en la comunicación celular, a investigar los mecanismos celulares relacionados con el desarrollo de enfermedades neurodegenerativas y a estudiar la genómica de la enfermedad de Parkinson.
Ha publicado 39 artículos de investigación en revistas internacionales y 8 capítulos de libro. Estos resultados han sido publicados en revistas de alto impacto como Journal of Extracellular Vesicles, Journal of Phisiology, ATVB, Plos One y PNAS.
